Eddie Irvine? No. John Watson? No. The first Irishman to win a Grand Prix was Sir Henry O'Neal de Hane Segrave who won the 1914 French Grand Prix in a Sunbeam. He was born in Baltimore, U.S.A. in 1896, the son of an American mother and Irish father.
