Hi ,

Want to learn more about Irish and medieval warrior arts ????

The Dublin Kern Warriors and Living History Re-enactment Group are seeking new members. We operate in the periods between 1000ad and 1500ad as Irish and we offer membership to male and female from the age of 14 upwards. We ?train? every Sunday in a school hall in Blanchardstown where teach members how to use - spear, pole arm, kern axe, long and short sword, one and two handed axe, dagger, javelin and long bow archery, as well as hand to hand fighting. We have a grading system and an emphasis on safe use of our mock weapons and appropriate period and costume according to your rank.

Our group is known in Irish as Cumann Duch?s Beo na h-Eireann and in English as, Living History Group of Ireland, so you don?t have to be a fighter in be involved. Our range of activities cover - Gaelic Culture, Irish History, Traditional Crafts, Costuming, Social Outings, Battle Re-enactment, Living History Camping and having a good time.
