Niels Junker-Poulsen, a Danish music writer / researcher, is researching the pre-Troubles group (and partly show band) scene in Belfast for his book on Van Morrison in the sixites. He would like as many people as possible to share their experiences with him. He has talked to a lot of people in Belfast but he needs to talk to even more. Niels would like to know about the men and the women, the boys and the girls, the ballrooms and the pubs, the groups and the show bands. He'd like to know about Thems fan club, people who attended performances back then, people who took part in those performances ... performances by The Alleykatz, The Just Five, The Few, Manhattan Showband, The Silhouettes, The Monarchs ... and Them. And guys like Eric Bell, Herbie Armstrong (who definetely has nothing to do with Jim Armstrong), Eric Wrixon, Rod Demick, Joe Hanratty, Mike Brown, George Jones, Roy Kane, Billy McAllen, Billy Harrison, Cecil McCartney, Eddie Campbell, Mike Niblett, Alan Henderson, Ronnie Millings, Gerry MacDuff, Tito Tinsley, Jackie McAuley, Geordie Sproule, just to name a few. And of course, he'd like to talk to those people themselves.

BTW, Niels is not just asking for the musicians to make a post. He'd also love to have those people, who just went to the gigs, the dance halls etc. to share their experiences.
