Me Da's friends were in Manhattan once, in the bad part of the neighbourhood. When they were coming back from a hurling match, a group of black guys tried to mug them. So the Irish guys beat the crap out've 'em with their hurleys. The muggers then went to the cops and said; 'There was a bunch of Irish guys who beat us up with giant wooden spoons!'.
