TEFL Teaching

Postby Catwoman » Wed Jul 26, 2006 11:33 am

Has anyone any experience of TEFL Teaching? I have heard great things about an online course combined with a Weekend course. This seems to give a TEFL teacher the skills and a bit of classroom experience. I have been looking at www.teflireland.com and www.weekendtefl.ie. They give a lot of support post course and keep track of their students.

Are there any competitors in this area of further education?

All help is appreciated.

We generally don't get along very well....

No suggestions about TEFL courses? Which would you recommend, which would you not?

EDIT: sorry it took so long, I lost track of my internet presences ;)

TEFL provides a good opportunity to earn money in abroad and to explore world, not by just visiting but being a part of the culture and gaining the experience of the particular country. For many of people joining a TEFL course is a life changing experience and gets vast expose. It really enhances your c.v.
